Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SPWCV + alum is a combination vaccine candidate composed of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein subunit vaccine (SPWCV) formulated with aluminum-based adjuvant (alum). The SPWCV component is a recombinant protein subunit designed to elicit an immune response against the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19. Alum serves as an adjuvant to enhance immunogenicity by promoting stronger and longer-lasting antibody responses. This combination is being developed as a prophylactic vaccine for COVID-19.
