SPX-306 is an orally administered bispecific therapeutic candidate being developed by SparX Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. It is designed to simultaneously inhibit Interleukin-23 (IL-23) and Tumor Necrosis Factor-like Ligand 1A (TL1A), two key cytokines involved in the pathogenesis of autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, particularly within the gastrointestinal tract. The dual inhibition of IL-23 and TL1A is intended to provide superior clinical outcomes compared to targeting either pathway alone. SPX-306 is currently in IND-enabling studies and is being developed as part of a collaboration with a NewCo.
