SPY004

SPY004 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Spyre Therapeutics as part of their immunology pipeline, featuring a novel, undisclosed mechanism of action. The molecule incorporates half-life extension modifications to facilitate less frequent dosing. It is in preclinical development with intentions for nomination and acquisition of intellectual property rights under the Paragon Agreement[1][9]. Mechanistic details, molecular target, and intended disease indications have not been publicly disclosed by the developer; however, it is distinct from other Spyre pipeline antibodies (such as anti-α4β7 and anti-TL1A) and is not part of current platform clinical trials for ulcerative colitis or rheumatoid arthritis. There is no evidence for SPY004 being an ophthalmic therapeutic for age-related macular degeneration, which is associated with the similarly named SPY-004 developed by SpyGlass Pharma[5][7].
