Overview

SQZ-AAC-KRAS is an autologous red-blood-cell-based cell therapy product candidate from SQZ Biotechnologies designed for treatment of **KRAS-mutant solid tumors**. It is built on the company's Activating Antigen Carriers platform, which uses Cell Squeeze technology to load red blood cells ex vivo with antigenic cargo derived from oncogenic **KRAS** mutations, particularly **G12D** and **G12V**. After administration, the engineered red blood cells are intended to exploit the physiologic clearance pathway of aged erythrocytes to drive antigen presentation and activate the patient's endogenous tumor-specific T cells against KRAS-mutated cancer cells. The program was described as a **preclinical** oncology immunotherapy candidate with intended application across tumor types such as pancreatic, colorectal, and some lung cancers.
