Overview

**SQZ-PBMC-HPV + ipilimumab** is an investigational combination therapy for HPV16-positive advanced or metastatic solid tumors. SQZ-PBMC-HPV is an autologous cell vaccine developed by SQZ Biotechnologies using the Cell Squeeze platform, which loads patient-derived peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) with HPV16 E6 and E7 antigens via microfluidic squeezing, resulting in heightened antigen presentation through MHC-I and stimulation of antigen-specific CD8+ T cells[1][2][4][6]. Ipilimumab is a monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor targeting CTLA-4, augmenting immune activation against tumor cells. The combination is intended to synergistically boost anti-tumor immunity and is under clinical investigation (NCT04084951) for patients with HPV16+ cancers including anal, cervical, head & neck, and other solid tumors[3][5].
