Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SRB5 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed to target CCR9, a chemokine receptor highly expressed on immune cells involved in chronic intestinal inflammation. It is designed with enhanced antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) properties to selectively deplete CCR9-positive cells. The drug is being investigated primarily for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and has potential for expansion into other immune-mediated inflammatory conditions and highly aggressive CCR9-expressing tumors.
