Overview

CoRegen's SRC-3KO Treg cell therapy is an autologous adoptive cell therapy designed to treat aggressive solid tumors. The process involves isolating a patient's own regulatory T cells (Tregs) and using gene editing technology to knock out the Steroid Receptor Coactivator-3 (SRC-3) gene. SRC-3 is a critical coactivator for the immunosuppressive function of Tregs in the tumor microenvironment. By disrupting this gene, the Tregs are reprogrammed from immune suppressors into cells that promote anti-tumor immunity, thereby enabling the immune system to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. This therapy is being developed for multiple indications, including triple-negative breast cancer, glioblastoma, and pancreatic cancer.
