The SRC Molecule Inhibitor is a small-molecule drug developed by CoRegen that targets the transcriptional activity of Steroid Receptor Coactivators (SRCs). It is designed with a dual mechanism of action: it directly inhibits the growth and proliferation of cancer cells and simultaneously blocks the suppressive activity of regulatory T cells (Tregs). By reducing Treg-mediated immunosuppression, the inhibitor promotes an elevated anti-tumor immune response from effector cells. The program is currently in preclinical development for several solid tumors, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, glioblastoma, and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
