Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SRCa (Slow Release Calcium) is a veterinary vitamin and mineral feed supplement developed by Morningbio and distributed by Navana Pharmaceuticals. It is specifically formulated for poultry, including laying hens and breeding birds, to improve eggshell quality and bone health. Each gram of SRCa contains 450 mg of calcium carbonate, 500 IU of Vitamin D3, and 0.05 IU of Vitamin E acetate. The slow-release formulation of calcium ensures a steady supply of calcium, which is particularly crucial at night when eggshell formation occurs and blood calcium levels typically drop. SRCa is indicated for preventing thin or broken eggshells, improving egg weight and size, supporting longer laying cycles, maintaining optimum bone health, enhancing hatchability in breeders, and preventing cage layer fatigue.
