SRD-066 is an investigational gene therapy candidate being developed by Sardocor for the treatment of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). Currently in the preclinical stage of development, SRD-066 is part of Sardocor's vascular program, which focuses on utilizing viral vector-based delivery systems to address circulatory and cardiovascular disorders. While Sardocor's lead cardiac programs target the SERCA2a (Sarcoplasmic/Endoplasmic Reticulum Ca2+-ATPase 2a) enzyme to improve calcium handling in heart failure, the specific molecular target for SRD-066 has not been publicly disclosed.
