SRRM2-CAR-T is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Eximmium Biotechnologies. It is engineered to target Serine/arginine repetitive matrix protein 2 (SRRM2), a protein involved in pre-mRNA splicing that is aberrantly expressed on the surface of certain malignant cells. By binding to SRRM2, the CAR-T cells are activated to induce T-cell-mediated cytotoxicity against the tumor cells. The therapy is currently being investigated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of multiple myeloma and is in preclinical development for pancreatic cancer.
