Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SRW Ndo1 is a multi-ingredient dietary supplement developed by Science Research Wellness (SRW) designed to support healthy blood glucose levels and metabolic function. The formulation is specifically studied for its effects on glycaemia in adults with prediabetes. Its primary active components include Reducose (a standardized white mulberry leaf extract rich in 1-deoxynojirimycin), berberine, and chromium picolinate. Reducose acts as a competitive inhibitor of alpha-glucosidase enzymes in the small intestine, thereby slowing the digestion of complex carbohydrates and reducing postprandial glucose spikes. Berberine contributes by activating AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), which enhances insulin sensitivity and cellular glucose uptake, while chromium picolinate supports the action of insulin at the receptor level.
