Overview

SS315 is a preclinical-stage bispecific monoclonal antibody being developed by Jiangsu Gensciences for the routine prophylaxis of Hemophilia A. It is designed to mimic the cofactor function of activated Factor VIII (FVIIIa) by simultaneously binding to activated Factor IX (FIXa) and Factor X (FX). This bridging mechanism facilitates the assembly of the tenase complex, thereby restoring the coagulation process and thrombin generation in patients with Factor VIII deficiency, regardless of the presence of Factor VIII inhibitors. SS315 is intended for subcutaneous administration and is engineered for a long half-life to support a reduced dosing frequency compared to traditional replacement therapies.
