Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SS327 is an ultra-long-acting recombinant human coagulation factor IX (FIX) fusion protein being developed by Jiangsu Gensciences for the treatment of hemophilia B (congenital factor IX deficiency). As a Class I innovative biologic, SS327 utilizes a dual long-acting technology platform that combines Fc fusion protein technology with PEGylation to significantly extend the circulating half-life of the recombinant Factor IX. This design aims to provide a domestic alternative to imported recombinant FIX therapies in China, with a projected dosing frequency of every 10 to 14 days. The drug received clinical trial approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in July 2023 for evaluation in adults and adolescents.
