Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SSGJ-627 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets TL1A (also known as tumor necrosis factor superfamily member 15 or VEGI), developed by Sunshine Guojian Pharmaceutical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (also referenced as Sansheng Guojian). It acts as a high-affinity and specific inhibitor of TL1A, a key regulator of mucosal immune responses implicated in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, particularly ulcerative colitis. SSGJ-627 is the first domestically developed anti-TL1A antibody in China to reach clinical trials, showing promising efficacy in preclinical models and an acceptable safety profile. Its main current development is for ulcerative colitis, with Phase 1 clinical trials underway, evaluating subcutaneous administration in healthy adult subjects[1][2][5][8].
