Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SSGJ-705 + chemotherapy is an investigational combination therapy being developed by Shenyang Sunshine Pharmaceutical (through its subsidiary Sunshine Guojian Pharmaceutical) for the treatment of advanced HER2-expressing solid tumors. SSGJ-705 is a novel bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously target the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) and the Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) immune checkpoint pathway. By combining this dual-targeting biologic with standard chemotherapy, the regimen aims to achieve synergistic anti-tumor activity: SSGJ-705 inhibits HER2-mediated signaling and restores T-cell mediated immune responses, while chemotherapy provides direct cytotoxic effects. This combination is currently being evaluated in Phase II clinical trials for patients with HER2-expressing gastric cancer, breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and gastroesophageal junction cancer.
