Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SSGJ-706 is a recombinant bispecific antibody developed by Sunshine Guojian Pharmaceutical (Shanghai) using its proprietary bispecific antibody platform. The drug is designed to simultaneously bind to two immune checkpoint targets—programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1)—which are closely associated with tumor immunosuppression. By targeting both PD-1 and PD-L1, SSGJ-706 aims to promote T cell activation and proliferation more effectively than monotherapies, thereby enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. Preclinical studies have demonstrated anti-tumor activity in various transplanted tumor models, with non-clinical data suggesting safety and tolerability. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for advanced solid tumors[1][2][5].
