Overview
SSGJ-706 + paclitaxel + cisplatin is a combination therapy being evaluated for the treatment of advanced gastrointestinal cancers, including gastric, esophageal, and colorectal adenocarcinomas. SSGJ-706 is a monoclonal antibody that acts as a dual inhibitor of programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), thereby enhancing the immune system's ability to detect and destroy tumor cells. This immunotherapy is combined with the TP chemotherapy regimen, which consists of paclitaxel, a microtubule-stabilizing agent, and cisplatin, a platinum-based DNA cross-linking agent.
