SSGJ-707 + paclitaxel is a combination therapy composed of SSGJ-707, a bispecific antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), plus paclitaxel, a microtubule inhibitor chemotherapeutic agent. SSGJ-707 acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor and anti-angiogenic therapy by inhibiting PD-1 and VEGF, respectively, and has been developed primarily for the treatment of advanced and metastatic solid tumors, particularly non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), endometrial carcinoma, and metastatic colorectal cancer. The combination with paclitaxel, a taxane-class chemotherapeutic that inhibits cell division by stabilizing microtubules, is under investigation in several clinical trials as a novel regimen to boost antitumor activity by leveraging both immune-modulation and direct cytotoxic effects. SSGJ-707 was initially developed by Dansheng Pharmaceutical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and is being co-developed with 3SBio. Its global development and licensing (outside China) is led by Pfizer, which also manufactures the product for international trials and intended commercialization[1][4][5][7].
