Overview

This is a combination of two drug classes/substances: - **SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor):** A class of small molecule antidepressants that increase serotonin levels in the brain by inhibiting its reuptake into presynaptic cells. Common SSRIs include citalopram, fluoxetine, sertraline, and others. They are primarily used to treat depression and anxiety disorders[2]. - **Golimumab:** A human monoclonal antibody (IgG1κ) that acts as a tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) inhibitor. It is used for the treatment of various inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and ulcerative colitis. Golimumab binds to both soluble and transmembrane forms of TNFα, preventing its pro-inflammatory activity[1][4][6][8][10]. There is no evidence this specific combination is marketed as a fixed-dose product; rather it refers to concurrent use of an SSRI with golimumab.
