SSS68

SSS68 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn). Developed by Shenyang Sunshine Pharmaceutical (a subsidiary of 3SBio), it is designed to treat various autoimmune diseases by blocking the interaction between FcRn and immunoglobulin G (IgG). By inhibiting FcRn, SSS68 accelerates the degradation of pathogenic IgG antibodies, thereby reducing their circulating levels without affecting other components of the immune system. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers, with potential applications in conditions such as myasthenia gravis, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and other IgG-mediated autoimmune disorders.
