Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SSSC-33 is a novel Schiff base analogue of 2-aminobenzothiazole, identified for its potential in treating hepatocellular carcinoma. It has demonstrated significant antioxidant potential and the ability to reverse changes in cancerous liver in a diethylnitrosamine-induced rat model. In silico studies suggest favorable pharmacokinetic properties, including potential for oral activity, and molecular docking indicated interactions with checkpoint kinase 1 and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2.
