Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SST-024 is a first-in-class small molecule modulator of the Wnt signaling pathway, specifically targeting Casein Kinase 1 alpha (CK1α). Developed by StemSynergy, it is currently in the lead optimization stage of preclinical development for the treatment of Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP). By modulating CK1α activity, SST-024 aims to regulate the aberrant Wnt signaling that drives the formation of numerous precancerous polyps in the colon and rectum of patients with FAP, potentially preventing the progression to colorectal cancer. The compound is part of a broader pipeline of Wnt, Notch, and Myc pathway modulators developed using SSTI chemistry.
