Overview

ST-6280 is a blood-brain barrier (BBB)-penetrating small molecule inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). Developed by Beijing Scitech-Mq Pharmaceuticals, it is specifically engineered to address central nervous system (CNS) complications of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), such as brain metastases and leptomeningeal metastases. By inhibiting these tyrosine kinases, ST-6280 aims to disrupt signaling pathways that drive tumor growth and survival in the brain. The drug is designed for high CNS penetration to overcome the limitations of many existing targeted therapies. It is currently in the IND-enabling preclinical stage of development.
