Overview

ST004 is a liposomal formulation of an organogold complex developed as an antimelanoma agent. It has demonstrated in vitro antiproliferative activity against melanoma cell lines and exerts cell cycle alterations. In vivo studies in murine models of melanoma have also shown its therapeutic potential. The drug's mechanism of action involves the inhibition of Aquaglyceroporin-3 (AQP3) activity.
