ST114

ST114 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), currently under development by Hangzhou Ruiao Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. Claudin 18.2 is a member of the claudin family of tight junction proteins, with expression highly restricted to the gastric mucosa in healthy tissues but frequently upregulated in malignancies such as gastric, esophageal, and pancreatic cancers. By specifically binding to the extracellular domain of CLDN18.2, ST114 facilitates the recruitment of immune effector cells and complement proteins to the tumor site, leading to tumor cell lysis via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). ST114 is being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with CLDN18.2-positive advanced solid tumors.
