Overview

**ST266** is an investigational, cell-free, multi-component secretome biologic developed by Noveome Biotherapeutics. It is manufactured from the soluble factors secreted by cultured human amnion epithelial cells obtained from donated full-term placentas, rather than containing living cells. The product contains physiologic concentrations of hundreds of proteins and other biomolecules, including cytokines and growth factors, intended to promote anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, neuroprotective, reparative, and regenerative effects. ST266 has been evaluated through topical, ophthalmic, intranasal, and intravenous administration in inflammatory, ocular-surface, neurologic, dermatologic, and neonatal diseases. Its active clinical program is a Phase 1/2 study in premature infants with necrotizing enterocolitis.
