Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ST8 ADC is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by IntoCell for the treatment of solid cancers. The therapeutic candidate consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting the ST8 antigen, which is expressed on the surface of various tumor cells, conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. ST8 ADC utilizes IntoCell's proprietary linker technology, likely including their OHPAS (Orthogonal Hydroxyl Protected Azido-Silyl) platform, which is designed to improve the stability of the conjugate in systemic circulation and facilitate the selective release of the payload upon internalization into target cells. By delivering the cytotoxic agent directly to ST8-expressing malignancies, the drug aims to maximize anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing off-target toxicity. It is currently in preclinical development.
