Overview

STAb-TMM is an investigational T-cell redirecting cellular immunotherapy currently in the preclinical (R&D) stage for the treatment of multiple myeloma. Developed by STAb Therapeutics, the candidate utilizes the company's proprietary STAb (Specific T cell redirecting Antibody) technology, which involves engineering T-cells to produce and secrete bispecific antibodies. These antibodies are designed to simultaneously bind to a specific antigen on multiple myeloma cells and the CD3 complex on T-cells, thereby facilitating targeted T-cell activation and the subsequent lysis of malignant cells. This approach aims to leverage the advantages of both adoptive cell therapy and bispecific T-cell engagers (BiTEs). As of the current pipeline status, the specific molecular target for STAb-TMM remains undisclosed.
