Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Staidutamab (TNM002) is a fully human monoclonal antibody developed by Zhuhai Trinomab Biotech for the prophylaxis and treatment of tetanus. It is designed to neutralize the tetanus toxin produced by *Clostridium tetani*. Unlike traditional tetanus immunoglobulin (TIG) derived from human plasma or equine antitoxin, staidutamab is produced using recombinant technology, offering a safer and more consistent alternative with a lower risk of blood-borne pathogen transmission or allergic reactions. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials and real-world registries for tetanus prophylaxis following traumatic injury.
