Overview

STAR0310 is a monoclonal antibody antagonist targeting the OX40 receptor (tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4), currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of atopic dermatitis and potentially other inflammatory conditions such as hidradenitis suppurativa. Developed by Astria Therapeutics (acquired by BioCryst Pharmaceuticals), the biologic utilizes half-life extension technology designed to enable infrequent dosing every two to three months. It is engineered for high potency and a favorable safety profile, specifically characterized by low T-cell depletion via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Following BioCryst's acquisition of Astria in early 2026, the company announced plans to pursue strategic alternatives for the program.
