Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STAR0502 is a preclinical-stage, first-in-class bispecific T-cell agonist developed by Marengo Therapeutics in partnership with Ipsen. Generated from Marengo's proprietary Selective T Cell Activation Repertoire (STAR) platform, STAR0502 is designed as a precision T-cell agonist for oncology indications. The STAR platform utilizes multi-specific antibody-fusion proteins that target specific germline-encoded variable beta (Vβ) regions of the T-cell receptor (TCR) fused to co-stimulatory moieties. This design enables selective activation and expansion of tumor-targeting T-cell subsets without causing the broad, non-selective systemic immune activation typically associated with traditional CD3-directed therapies. STAR0502 is currently undergoing IND-enabling studies for the treatment of solid tumors.
