Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STC006 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Staidson Biopharmaceutical that targets thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP). TSLP is an epithelial-derived cytokine that plays a critical role in the initiation and persistence of type 2 inflammation, which is central to the pathogenesis of several allergic diseases. By binding to and neutralizing TSLP, STC006 blocks its interaction with the TSLP receptor complex, thereby inhibiting the downstream release of pro-inflammatory cytokines. The drug is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of asthma, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), and atopic dermatitis.
