Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STC101 is a biosimilar version of a monoclonal antibody developed by STC Biologics for the treatment of cancer. Its development has been supported by a $2.5 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II contract from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and a $2 million cash infusion from Ligacept LLC. The funding is intended to facilitate manufacturing scale-up and the initiation of clinical activities. The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) also supported STC Biologics' application for this funding.
