Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STE-006 is a discontinued topical anti-infective drug candidate that was being developed by Stowe Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Harrow Health, for ophthalmic and otic indications, primarily non-specific conjunctivitis. The asset was originally licensed from TGV-Health. Following preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies at a U.S. academic research institution that failed to replicate earlier efficacy data against ophthalmic pathogens, Harrow Health terminated the license agreement in May 2021 and discontinued further development of the candidate.
