Drug intelligence / Profile preview
StealthX Therapeutic Exosomes is a proprietary exosome-based platform developed by Capricor Therapeutics for the targeted delivery of various therapeutic payloads, including oligonucleotides, proteins, and small molecules. The platform leverages nano-sized extracellular vesicles (exosomes) engineered for specific surface protein expression and cargo loading. These exosomes are designed to mediate paracrine effects such as anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic, and immunomodulatory actions. While the platform is being evaluated for a wide range of diseases, preclinical research has specifically explored its use in treating Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) through the delivery of phosphorodiamidate morpholino oligomers (PMOs).
