Stellisept

Stellisept is an antiseptic, alcohol-free wash lotion developed by Bode Chemie (a Hartmann brand) for hygienic hand and whole-body cleansing. It features a broad-spectrum antimicrobial effect, specifically targeting bacterial cell membranes and microbial flora, making it suitable for the decolonization of pathogens such as MRSA, ORSA, and VRE. The formulation includes active ingredients like undecylenamidopropyltrimonium methosulfate and phenoxyethanol, along with skin-conditioning agents such as panthenol and allantoin to maintain skin integrity. It is frequently used for pre-operative body cleansing and in clinical settings where antimicrobial efficacy must be balanced with dermatological safety.
