Overview

Stemcelline Vial - WJ-Exo is an investigational exosome-based therapy developed by Stemcelline, an Indian cellular bio-medical service center based in Faridabad, Haryana. The product consists of extracellular vesicles (exosomes) derived from Wharton's Jelly mesenchymal stem cells (WJ-MSCs) obtained from human umbilical cords. It is currently in the preclinical development stage for the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis. The therapy is designed to leverage the paracrine signaling properties of mesenchymal stem cells, delivering regenerative and immunomodulatory signals to restore tissue injury in the lungs. Stemcelline maintains research collaborations with several academic and medical institutions, including the University of Sheffield, University of Oxford, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
