Stempeucel

**Stempeucel** is a cryopreserved, off-the-shelf allogeneic cell therapy composed of pooled, ex vivo-expanded mesenchymal stromal cells derived from bone marrow aspirates of healthy adult donors. Developed by Stempeutics, it is manufactured using a donor-pooling cell-bank process intended to reduce donor-to-donor variability. Following local administration into ischemic tissue, the MSCs are intended to act primarily through paracrine angiogenic, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and tissue-repair activities, including secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor and other proangiogenic mediators. Stempeucel has marketing authorization in India for no-option critical limb ischemia associated with Buerger's disease and atherosclerotic peripheral arterial disease, and Stempeutics also identifies knee osteoarthritis as an approved indication.
