Overview
STG120 is an investigational sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) tablet being developed by Stallergenes Greer for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, with or without conjunctivitis, caused by short ragweed pollen. The product is a fast-dissolving tablet containing a standardized allergen extract from *Ambrosia artemisiifolia* (short ragweed) pollen. Administered daily under the tongue, STG120 is designed to desensitize the immune system to ragweed allergens, specifically targeting the Amb a 1 allergen. This process aims to induce immune tolerance, thereby reducing allergy symptoms and the reliance on rescue medications during pollen season. The drug has been evaluated in Phase 1 and Phase 3 clinical trials for its safety, tolerability, and pharmacodynamic effects.
