Overview

STI-002 is a second-generation immuno-oncology drug candidate developed by Stimunity S.A. It is based on cGAMP-VLP technology, which involves encapsulating the endogenous STING activator cGAMP within Virus-Like Particles (VLPs). This approach aims to activate the innate immune system, enhance T-cell responses against tumor cells, and stimulate dendritic cell activation, with a preferential targeting of dendritic cells. The drug is designed for systemic administration and has shown potential to synergize with immune checkpoint therapies in preclinical studies for cancer treatment.
