Overview

STIA-1002 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Staidson (Beijing) Biopharmaceutical (Staidson Hongkong) for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It is designed to target and neutralize tumor necrosis factor (TNF), a key pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a central role in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. By binding to TNF, STIA-1002 inhibits the interaction of the cytokine with its cell surface receptors, thereby blocking downstream inflammatory signaling pathways. This mechanism aims to reduce joint inflammation, alleviate symptoms, and prevent structural damage in patients with RA. The drug is currently listed in Staidson's research and development pipeline.
