Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Stifen-MR is a fixed-dose combination tablet developed and marketed by Med Manor Organics for the treatment of acute musculoskeletal pain, muscle spasms, and inflammatory conditions such as arthritic pain, sprains, and strains. It contains three active ingredients: aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes to reduce prostaglandin synthesis; paracetamol (acetaminophen), an analgesic and antipyretic that provides additional pain relief; and chlorzoxazone, a centrally acting muscle relaxant that acts on the spinal cord and subcortical areas of the brain to inhibit multi-synaptic reflex arcs. Together, these components work synergistically to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and relieve muscle stiffness and spasms, thereby improving physical mobility.
