Stimus is a biological product developed by Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Joint Stock Company. It is a biosimilar version of darbepoetin alfa, an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA). Stimus is administered subcutaneously or intravenously and is indicated for the treatment of anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease who are on dialysis. It works by stimulating the production of red blood cells, similar to the reference product Aranesp®.
