Sting-Eze

Sting-Eze is an over-the-counter topical small-molecule combination product for symptomatic relief of pain, itching, burning, and swelling associated with insect bites and stings. The product is manufactured and distributed by Wisconsin Pharmacal and contains benzocaine, phenol, and camphor as active ingredients. Its activity is primarily local and symptomatic rather than pathway-targeted: benzocaine provides topical local anesthetic activity, phenol contributes antiseptic and local anesthetic effects, and camphor provides topical antipruritic and counterirritant relief.
