Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STM-04 is a preclinical-stage secretome-based therapeutic candidate developed by Secretome Therapeutics for the treatment of Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM). The drug is produced using the company's proprietary Secretome Optimization and Production (SOP) platform, which generates a complex mixture of bioactive factors—including proteins, cytokines, and extracellular vesicles (exosomes)—secreted by neonatal mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). STM-04 is designed to leverage the regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties of these secreted factors to repair damaged cardiac tissue and improve heart function in patients with DCM.
