Drug intelligence / Profile preview
STM-21 is a preclinical-stage cell therapy candidate developed by Secretome Therapeutics. It is derived from neonatal cardiac progenitor cells (nCPCs) and focuses on utilizing the cellular secretome—the collection of proteins, growth factors, and exosomes secreted by the cells—to treat inflammatory and degenerative conditions. The asset is currently being evaluated for the treatment of neurological and skin conditions. Secretome Therapeutics has partnered with RoosterBio to develop a scalable, 50L cGMP-compatible bioreactor-based manufacturing process to support the transition from preclinical development to future clinical trials.
