STM418 is an experimental **anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody** being developed in oncology as an immune checkpoint inhibitor. Published preclinical work describes STM418 as a monoclonal antibody that **specifically recognizes glycosylated PD-1**, with preferential engagement of the **N58 glycosylation site** on programmed cell death protein 1, leading to blockade of the **PD-1 and PD-L1 interaction** and enhancement of antitumor T-cell immunity. In humanized mouse models of triple-negative breast cancer, STM418 showed stronger antitumor activity than nivolumab or pembrolizumab in the reported experiments.
