Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**STMC-105** is a preclinical, multi-strain vaginal live biotherapeutic product being developed by Siolta Therapeutics to prevent recurrent bacterial vaginosis. It is a defined vaginal bacterial consortium designed to restore and durably maintain protective Lactobacillus-dominant vaginal microbiota, thereby improving resilience against microbiota disruption, opportunistic-pathogen colonization, and bacterial-vaginosis recurrence. The planned product includes protective *Lactobacillus crispatus*, *Lactobacillus gasseri*, and *Lactobacillus jensenii* species and is being developed as a mucoadhesive extended-release vaginal tablet.
