STP122G is a GalNAc-conjugated small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by Sirnaomics for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders. It utilizes the proprietary GalAhead™ platform technology, specifically mxRNA (miniaturized RNAi triggers), to target and silence the expression of Factor XI (FXI) in the liver. By inhibiting the production of FXI, a key enzyme in the intrinsic coagulation pathway, STP122G aims to provide effective anticoagulation with a significantly reduced risk of bleeding compared to traditional anticoagulants. The drug is administered subcutaneously and is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials to assess safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in healthy volunteers.
